"A woman from Manchester has become the first person to change her name by Deed Poll to a web domain, according to the Legal Deed Service.
Twenty-four-year-old Claire Forshaw changed her name to Princess-Rainbow.com earlier this week. She had previously been put off changing her name by her boyfriend, 23-year-old Robert Morris, who had tried to dissuade her by claiming it would cost hundreds of pounds.
“I knew that if ever I got the chance I would change [my name] to a web domain, to hopefully become the first. My boyfriend has always told me it cost hundreds of pounds to do, so I just forgot about it,” she told press, adding:
“When I realised it actually cost as little as £10 my boyfriend said that Princess-Rainbow.com was ideal for me because I am mad on rainbows!”"

In a post on its company blog, Google said the operating system would initially be aimed at netbooks, the compact, low-cost computers that have turned the PC world on its head. No, not some nice asking to take it down or – what my approach would have been – saying thanks for sharing. Full throttle from a stand still which shortly thereafter got her some flack from other commenters. And rightly so.
Only after various posts the lady apparently notices that her photo was posted as Creative Commons and removes that licensing. Of course, too little too late. Starting a conversation like she did, you are just asking for trouble. I’m wondering whether she is writing the people at Google, Microsoft and Yahoo letters in the same language because the photo is showing up there too.

A David Tennant lookalike who died in a tragic accident had a time-travelling funeral - to go out just like his Dr Who hero.
Seb Neale, 26, had a coffin like a Tardis time machine complete with blue flashing light for his out-of-this world send-off.
His family replaced sombre funeral music with the Dr Who theme tune and mourners sang along and burst into applause.
More than 200 mourners were greeted with words: 'I'm a time lord ... I'm not a human being. I walk in eternity.' And instead of readings from the scriptures, the service used original scripts from classic Dr Who episodes.

It’s called Bazooka Joe, a script commissioned by Eisner’s Tornante shingle to help pump interest in the Topps-owned brand. It remains to be determined if Mark Hammer’s screenplay will somehow make Bazooka any less stale or preserve its flavor past its current three-minute threshold, but that hardly compromises the fascinating nature of the project. On one hand, as THR notes, the comic adventures of Bazooka Joe and his ragtag gang have plenty of potential family appeal (unless you’re a dentist).
