Peanuts "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (Charlie Brown Records, 2604, 1978)
Amazingly not available on CD (though throughout the '70's it was released on vinyl in a variety of formats; long playing 12", book & record 7", etc), this is the shortened-for-LP adaptation of the beloved Halloween special from 1966.

Showtime Debuts Originals on Yahoo!
Showtime will offer free episodes of some of its originals on Yahoo!, the first time a pay cable network has offered more than just one episode for free streaming on the Internet.From Oct. 6 to 13, Yahoo! will let users stream selected episodes of Weeds, Dexter, Sleeper Cell and The L Word, as well as a behind-the-scenes clip from new drama The Tudors, currently in production.

Revenge of the Nerds Remake to be filmed
Variety reports that Fox Atomic will begin filming in Altanta on October 9 for Revenge of the Nerds, a reimagining of the 1984 cult comedy being produced by McG and his Wonderland Sound & Vision partner David Manpearl. Kyle Newman directs.
