Open Souce FriendFeed in the works

Create a free and open client and server for Friendfeed-like social networks, based of version 2 of the FriendFeed API and consisting of stream aggregation, asynchronus relationships, and serendipitous content discovery.
This would be an awesome thing especially if it were built with laconi.ca included like Evan states in the group post here http://ff.im/6TV2h
