David Fincher is taking Dark Horse comic The Goon to the movies.Famously adept at crafting tightly wound creep-outs in Se7en, Zodiac and Fight Club, Fincher will team with Blur Studios to make the CG animated feature.Who exactly is the Goon? Hatched by Eric Powell nine years ago in his graphic novel series, the thug with an ugly mug serves as muscle for a mobster. The Goon's job: Dispatch zombies, skunk apes and other paranormal mutants.Goon is the first feature from Blur, the Venice, California-based outfit best known for its wacky TV commercials and Oscar-nominated Gopher Broke short.Dark Horse Entertainment plans to develop the project in-house, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Larry Harmon, who appeared as Bozo the Clown for decades and licensed the name to other Bozos around the world, had died at age 83.Harmon died Thursday at his home of congestive heart failure, his longtime publicist, Jerry Digney, told The Associated Press.Although not the first person to play Bozo, Harmon took on the famous clown's persona and, as an entrepreneur, he licensed the character to others, particularly TV stations. Those stations then recruited their own Bozos for local shows.

iTunes is now carrying episodes of several of DC’s past cartoons, including Batman: The Animated Series, Super Friends, Batman Beyond and even Aquaman. Click here to check them out in iTunes.It doesn’t look like they have all of Batman: The Animated Series or Superman: The Animated Series quite yet … I never saw the end of the Superman series, for instance, and would like to download it. But hopefully they’ll get them eventually.
