Free long distance calls through Google?
the new feature could theoretically allow users to make free long distance phone calls to any North American number.Since every business listing on Google Maps has the "click-to-call" feature enabled, the only thing you need to do is get listed. Now instead of dialing a long distance phone number on your phone, you "dial" it through your own business listing on Google Maps.

Literary 'Dummies' getting TV treatment
"Whatever topic you can think of, there's a 'Dummies' book for it," said Arthur Smith, who runs his TV production company with Kent Weed. "There's such a plethora of information, and these are books -- not pamphlets." While no major specifics were given regarding the project, Weed said he and Smith would try to make the TV adaptation of the popular manuals both educational and entertaining. Producers are considering a game show format, among other possible formats, Daily Variety said.

Deep-Fried Flags Removed From Museum
Art student William Gentry said his piece, "The Fat Is in the Fire," was a commentary on obesity in America. "I deep-fried the flag because I'm concerned about America and about America's health," Gentry said.Customs House Museum executive director Ned Crouch took down the artwork Wednesday less than 18 hours after it went up in this community next to the Fort Campbell.
