Twisten.FM :: Listen to Twitter
Twisten.fm
(pronounced TWISS-en-dot-eff-em) is a mashup that crawls Twitter for tweets about music. It then takes those tweets and throws in a play button so that you can listen to the song being talked about. Way cool huh?

Man Vs Machine: Boy Killed Anally When Office Chair Explodes
Man Vs Machine: Boy Killed Anally When Office Chair Explodes
Well, stories don't get much worse than this. A 14-year-old boy in China was killed when his chair exploded, sending chunks of metal into his rectum. The bleeding this caused killed him.The alleged explosion came from the gas cylinder that was in the base of the chair, the part that allowed the user to adjust the seat up and down. The canister gets compressed when you sit on it, but can it actually create enough energy to make the seat cushion explode like that and kill a man? I doubt it, but this is what people are reporting.

Google StreetView kills Bambi
Google StreetView kills Bambi | StreetViewFun
A deer got killed by the Google StreetView car.
Google have removed the images but you can see the images right here below.Google have since explained the incident:
The driver was understandably upset, and promptly stopped to alert the local police and the Street View team at Google. The deer was able to move and had left the area by the time the police arrived. The police explained to our driver that, sadly, this was not an uncommon occurrence in the region — the New York State Department of Transportation estimates that 60,000-70,000 deer collisions happen per year in New York alone — and no police report needed to be filed.

Seven Google Easter Eggs
You may know, or not know, that the people at Google.com aren't the typical boring techies you'd imagine. They have a lot of odd and amusing little Easter eggs built into the website. Here are a few of my favourites:

The Price is Right!Twitter Gets Around « Gen Y PR Prescriptions
From what I understand, the coolest group of people ever to grace the Price is Right audience came to the show sporting t-shirts with their twitter handles.One lady from the group was lucky enough to hear the three little words that we all seek out at some point in our lives: COME ON DOWN!When she won a game and made it to the stage, Drew Carey actually gave a good definition of twitter.

Han Solo encased in Guacamole
“He’s no guac to me dead”
The only piece I bought ahead of time was the face, because I knew it was the most important part of the whole thing. I was lucky enough to find master special effects makeup artist Bill Forsche through the internet, who just happened to have an amazing sculpt of Han’s carbonite-frozen face.
