The assault trial stems from a bizarre series of events in 2006.Salon feud leads to Jade Lacey charge | The Australian
Lacey's then-girlfriend Aleena Shadbina allegedly paid $1600 to Broadbeach hairdresser Phillipe Hadchiti for hair extensions, and later returned wanting a hair dye to look more like Hollywood star J-Lo. Mr Hadchiti said he would not dye the hair but another salon did.
Lacey later returned to Mr Hadchiti's salon after his girlfriend complained about the results of her J-Lo-inspired do.
An argument broke out and Lacey allegedly punched Mr Hadchiti after demanding a refund and trying to take money out of the till.

Mountaineous Inclined House by Nunatak Architectes | design(dot)fr: "Designed by Nunatak Architectes, this amazingly unique house is located in a picturesque valley of Switzerland. Inspired by a mountain, this house is like a huge inclined block – sloping roofs epitomize mountain slopes and the lovely grey color of the house blends in perfectly with the hilly terrain. The most interesting thing is that some walls are made of simple stones that simply gives the entire house a more “eco-friendly” feel. A must-have for those who are looking for a quite getaway from the hectic city life. Isn’t it?"

Photojojo - Turn a Book Into a Top-Secret Camera Case:
"Invisible ink, spy cameras, secret passageways… if it’s incognito, we love it.
Our yen for all things surreptitious and sneaky has inspired us to craft this clansdestine camera case out of a hollowed-out book.
It’s highly useful for tricking enemy spies into believing you are a harmless bookworm instead of the undercover photo ninja that you are."

NYC TAXI DRIVER FABIO PERALTA HAS PASSENGERS CREATE ART WHILE IN CAB - New York Post![]()
Fabio Peralta has turned the back seat of his yellow cab into an art studio for his passengers, and has commissioned thousands of works.
As soon as a passenger hops into his Crown Vic, Peralta, a 40-year veteran hack, hands the rider a pen and a stack of computer paper.
"I tell them to create art, any kind of art," he said."I don't care what it is. Whatever comes to their brain, I say."
Passengers often hesitate at first.
But, incredibly, most put down the BlackBerry, pick up the paper and get to work as Peralta zips through and streets.

The Top 10 Awesome Things You Didn't Know About Clint Eastwood | Top Movies![]()
Clint Eastwood has become a living monument of Hollywood. He is to film what Chuck Norris is to roundhouse kicks: the founding father and ruling king. His squint alone has the ability to make lesser filmmakers renounce the craft altogether and his gravelly snarl has made plenty of punks reassess the status of their luck. But everyone knows he’s a badass, and everyone knows he’s as talented behind a camera as he is behind the trigger of a .44 Magnum. But there are some things you might not have known about him.

Dr Who lookalike is sent off in a Tardis-style coffin | Mail Online![]()
A David Tennant lookalike who died in a tragic accident had a time-travelling funeral - to go out just like his Dr Who hero.
Seb Neale, 26, had a coffin like a Tardis time machine complete with blue flashing light for his out-of-this world send-off.
His family replaced sombre funeral music with the Dr Who theme tune and mourners sang along and burst into applause.
More than 200 mourners were greeted with words: 'I'm a time lord ... I'm not a human being. I walk in eternity.' And instead of readings from the scriptures, the service used original scripts from classic Dr Who episodes.
